Halie Ann Headley

Trustee

Halie started her career in banking and has since held several roles across a range of industries including education, healthcare, finance, charities, engineering, manufacturing, and law enforcement.

A highly motivated, flexible, and adaptable membership strategist and HR Specialist, Halie has over 40 years combined experience in the public and private sector, with experience of working in single and multi-site operations and providing solutions to business growth in rapidly changing environments.

Halie has an in-depth knowledge of membership growth and retention strategies, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and employment law both at operational and strategic level, with a strong proven business-focus, leading to the successful delivery of key performance indicators and quality outcomes through a people-centred approach.

Successful outcomes include developing and implementing workforce plans, utilising HR analytics, change management and improving motivation through a planned approach of recruitment, retention, succession planning, mentoring, and coaching. Halie also has a sound background in safeguarding having worked for the early years sector for several years.

Alongside her paid employment, Halie spends any spare time in volunteer roles which includes a Governor position. She is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a Fellow and Chartered Manager of Chartered Management Institute (CMI), a member of the CIPD West Yorkshire and the CIPD North Policy Group, and a Mental Health Champion and qualified First Aider.
